Harvey and Brockless – Excel training from JPL
Harvey and Brockless was founded around 1970 when Frank Day (the step grandfather of
Sales Director, Simon Yorke) bought a Cheese Wholesalers from a Mr Harvey & Mr Brockless in Hailsham, Sussex and it has since gone from strength to strength. They are a producer and distributor of speciality foods, working with artisan food producers across the globe.
They supply daily to a nationwide network of customers from the smallest farm shops to restaurants and food manufacturers. They are known for their expertise in the dairy sector, as well as expertise in a diverse range of fine foods.
How we help Harvey and Brockless
JPL IT Training Limited have been working closely with Harvey and Brockless (formerly Cheese Cellar) for several years now in developing their staff’s knowledge of MS Office applications.
We have usually run group based training on site in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook followed by a series of “surgery” sessions where John goes on site and spend a couple of hours with staff working on their own data and jointly resolving their own issues. This has concentrated their skills in each function particularly in Excel.
Harvey and Brockless are great fans of VLOOKUPs in Excel and therefore this has also been a favourite stamping ground for them with John.
