FAQs

How is the Basic Project training course structured?
We cover a variety of topics in our basic Project course. The topics are structured to build on throughout the day. There is also a mid morning break, lunch break and mid afternoon break planned in to make sure that it isn’t too much information for you in one go.

Does the training cover the latest Microsoft Office 365 updates?
Definitely. The content of our Project training courses transfers across and is compatible with any future updates of Microsoft 365. As well as this though, our Project 365 training courses are reviewed regularly to ensure any new tools and features are not missed out.

How can Microsoft Project training benefit my business?
Project can be a useful package for creating plans in companies and so training in it will benefit any member of staff greatly. It can increase your team’s productivity, improve resource management in projects and strengthen their ability to communicate effectively, helping your business stand out in any industry.

How do I know if this is the right level course for my Project training needs?
You will be the best person to know what your knowledge of Project is. We say that a good indicator of your level, is that if you know at least 80% of the content covered confidently then you are ok to go on the next level course. However if you are unsure, we suggest it is best to do the level to make sure you are confident enough to move onto the next one. With Project we would recommend completing both levels of course to ensure a good rounded knowledge of the package.

JPL IT Training provided Excel training for ISO at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce. The course was Intermediate Excel and 10 people attended and gave us great feedback on their Linked In profile.
John Legge has been an absolute dream of a trainer and made it so engaging that we didn’t even notice how the evening came!
Safe to say that we now know all about Fn button (and yes, we love it) and Control + Strange Button! Most of us had a very basic knowledge of Excel and we have definitely gained an in-depth knowledge and learned a lot that we haven’t known before!

Snow Business testimonial – working alongside staff in Excel

The session was very well structured with a good combination of theory and practical work. It was very useful to do individual examples of each task and the course notes are thorough without being confusing. John was a great teacher and catered for all knowledge levels. The pace of the day was great, at no point did we feel John was moving on too quickly but the sessions didn’t ‘drag’.

MonoSol AF Limited – Helping train staff in Microsoft 365 packages

“We would highly recommend JPL IT Training. We have been using JPL IT Training for several years now and would not consider booking with anyone else.
John and Rachel are excellent trainers and the feedback from employees is always great. They have delivered Excel, Word and Access courses at all levels both face to face and remotely.
The sessions are always interactive and informative, and you leave them knowing much more than you did at the start. In group sessions they have the ability to adapt to each learner and ensure everyone gets the level of attention they need which is important as no one gets left behind”

Fatherson Bakery Testimonial – swapping baking for Excel & PowerPoint!

I worked with John and the team at JPL who created a bespoke training program for us. This was across Excel and PowerPoint to train all our teams up to a standard we needed in the business.

They have developed a Bronze, Silver & Gold 1 day course for us. This allows our team to develop their IT and use practical examples for the their day to day roles.

Feedback has been positive and we look forward to rolling out more with John in the coming months.
